Leadership

The Extended Family Wellness Services owner has more than 30 years combined experience in the criminal justice community including U.S. military service (Air Force) veteran  security and police services.  He has also worked in a metro Atlanta District Attorney's Office in the criminal investigations unit, He was a State of Georgia investigator, an elder crimes investigator and a local State of Georgia Municipal law enforcement metro area police officer and detective. The owner was a crime trend analyst, a state certified ethics and training instructor and completed the National Crime Prevention Institute (Crime Prevention and Resource Protection) course. He was also a trained National Alliance on Mental Illness (N.A.M.I), Crisis Intervention Training (C.I.T) officer. He has conducted military facility safety (hazard) inspections overseas an has experience with victims of crime and thier family members. He has a clear understanding of their needs and fears. He has seen first hand the psychological and financial damage these crimes have and the lasting affects on the entire family.  He is knowledgeable in the recognition of the signs of physical abuse as well as minor to fatal injuries. His previous experiences in working with financial and property crimes allows him to clearly identify damages or hazards. 

 

 As a youth he developed his passion for the community by working at a local State of Tennessee nursing home. His connection with the community has continued throughout his military and civilian career. His involvement includes volunteering to help feed those that need help, assisting with the building of low rent homes, coat drives and mentoring our youth. 

 

This company has the basic belief that all persons regardless of economical, social, and cultural environment should be respected and treated fairly. As stated earlier, this is a local Georgia based home visitation company serving the needs of Georgians statewide.
